• Apply context clues to infer meanings of unfamiliar words, enhancing vocabulary with phrasal verbs and suffixes.
• Write descriptive and expository essays on topics like poverty, community service, health, social equity, and technology, with coherent structure and relevant content.
• Utilize specific grammatical structures, such as modal verbs, relative clauses, the present perfect and continuous tenses, conditional sentences, and contrasts between past and present tenses.
• Analyze and discuss the impact of social issues such as poverty, community service, communicable diseases, and the importance of technology, promoting a deeper understanding of societal roles and responsibilities.
• Integrate ideas from reading passages into discussions and written assignments, fostering critical thinking and practical application of knowledge.
